Reflection 11/21

Exodus 3:13-15 NIV

13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” 14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.a] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” 15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord,b] the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.

“This is my name forever,

the name you shall call me

from generation to generation.”

As we begin to close this  year out we should all reflect on what God has brought us through.   Instead of looking in the mirror to see the imperfections  that we love to point out, take a minute to appreciate the very blessing of not being burned by the fire you have been through. Soak in the fact that the scars you once cried over have now healed by the grace of God!
Your reflection becomes your worship as you see how God becomes exactly what you need when you need it. Being thankful is not just a seasonal thing, it is a mentality and more importantly an example of how God can turn anything around.
