The church of the city today, tomorrow the nation…

 Our Mission

We are committed to showing God’s love to a hurting world. We desire to impact our communities, by demonstrating the love of God. We have many community outreach programs that have impacted many in our city and surrounding communities. Come be part of a church that goes beyond its four walls in order to show God’s love.

“Thank you for choosing the Cross, because the Cross first chose you.”

The Cross Church is a unique, Non-Denominational, multi-cultural church with a passion for sharing the message of Jesus Christ to everyone from all walks of life. We are located in the heart of East Chicago, Indiana. We have a passion for our city and region to see a move of God that will shift the hearts of man to the heart of God. We accept everyone  as they are because we believe that once you get in the presence of God there will be change. We are a Christ centered church that looks to magnify our God above all else. We are not a church that’s concerned with the gifts and talents of man, but of the fruits one displays to be a reflection of Christ. Man doesn’t see man but the God that’s in the man. Our passion is inspired by the dynamic leadership of Senior Pastors Donald and Marlene Ramirez, who seek to lead people into a relationship with Christ.
So if you are exploring faith, looking for a place to belong, or a church to call home, we would love to have you as our guest so that you can see first hand what we are about! Our worship is passionate, expresses the heart of God, and we are never apologetic about expressing our love for Jesus. We are a judgment free church who welcomes all and considers you family the moment you walk through the doors. Our messages are always Christ centered, faith-challenging, relevant, and never boring! Your faith, heart, and perspective will always be geared to look upon the cross which is the very power of God to bring about change in our lives!
“For the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God”. -1 Corinthians 1:18
